RyfeTech Trainings privacy notice
Version training-privacy-2026-10-v1 · Last updated 12 Oct 2026

This notice explains how RyfeTech Trainings ("RyfeTech", "we") handles personal information when you register for, attend or follow up on our trainings through this website. Questions about it can be sent to [email protected]. We handle personal information in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173).

1. What we collect

  • Registration details: your name, email address, phone number, professional status, Power Platform experience and, if you choose, your company.
  • Payment details: payment method, transaction reference, payment date and the receipt or proof file you upload. We never ask for card numbers or online banking passwords.
  • Consent records: the version of the terms and this notice you accepted, whether you opted in to updates, and when.
  • Learning account: your login email, course access dates, lesson and task progress, attendance, and the schedule you booked.
  • Lab details: if you receive an individual lab, the invitation link and optional lab username supplied by the lab provider. We do not collect or store lab passwords.
  • Newsletter engagement: when a newsletter image is loaded or a tracked link is followed, we record the first and latest time and a count for that recipient and campaign. Opens are estimates because email apps and automated scanners may load content automatically. We do not store your IP address or device information in newsletter engagement records.
  • Messages: emails we send you about your registration, and any question you send us through the website, including your email address.

2. Why we use it

  • To process your registration, confirm your payment, reserve your place and issue your receipt.
  • To create your learning account, release access and provide your trainings, Microsoft Teams sessions and labs.
  • To track attendance and progress, and to handle cancellations, refunds and schedule changes.
  • To answer your questions and give support.
  • To send service emails that are part of your registration, such as confirmations, receipts, access and joining details.
  • To send newsletters or workshop updates only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To keep records we need for accounting and legal purposes, and to keep the service secure.

3. Who can see it

  • RyfeTech staff with a training role. Access is limited by role: for example teachers do not see payment proofs, and sales and marketing staff do not see payment details.
  • Microsoft services we use to run the training, including Microsoft Teams for live sessions and Microsoft 365 to send our emails.
  • Our lab provider, which receives only what it needs to create your individual lab account, such as your name and email address.
  • Payment services you choose to use, such as GCash or your bank, have their own privacy terms.

We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it to authorities only when the law requires it.

4. How we protect it

  • Payment proofs are stored privately and can be opened only by authorised staff and by you when signed in with your verified email.
  • Lab invitation links are stored encrypted and shown only to you, inside your private dashboard, while your access is active.
  • Receipt links in emails are private, signed and time limited.
  • Learning access, and the lab access we issue, is limited to 15 days from release.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Registration, payment and receipt records are kept for the period required by accounting, tax and other legal obligations. Newsletter contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Questions you send us are kept while we handle them and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us about the specific retention period for your records.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

This website uses only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms, and it stores your light or dark display preference in your browser. It does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.

Newsletters use a small image and tracked links hosted by RyfeTech to measure engagement and improve future updates. These do not set tracking cookies. You can stop receiving newsletters with the unsubscribe link in each email; after you unsubscribe we stop recording further engagement for your contact.

7. Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it to be deleted or blocked where the law allows, receive a copy in a common format, and withdraw your consent for optional uses such as newsletters. Records we must keep by law cannot be deleted before the legal period ends. Write to [email protected] and we will respond promptly. If you believe your rights were not respected, you may also contact the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.

8. Changes to this notice

If we change this notice in a way that matters, we will update the version and date above, and ask for your acceptance again where the law requires it.
